DAY 1
Metro Vancouver to Campbell River

Your journey starts with a relaxing sailing across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. When you arrive, begin your scenic journey to Campbell River – the salmon capital of the world.

DAY 2

Campbell River to Port Hardy

Start your day by joining Homalco Wildlife & Cultural Tours on a 4-hour whale-watching excursion to lookout for humpbacks, orcas, porpoises, dolphins, sea lions, otters, bald eagles and other marine wildlife. In the afternoon, drive to Port Hardy for the evening.

DAY 3

Inside Passage cruise to Prince Rupert

Depart Port Hardy and embark on a 16-hour sailing through the iconic Inside Passage. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the rugged shoreline, as well as orcas and porpoises in the channel, and bald eagles circling overhead.

DAY 4

Prince Rupert

Spend the day in Prince Rupert exploring! Head out fishing for salmon and halibut that are bountiful in the area, join a wildlife tour into Khutzeymateen Provincial Park, or walk around Cow Bay Marina in the heart of Prince Rupert's tourist area.

DAY 5

Prince Rupert

Spend the day exploring Prince Rupert at your own pace. You could visit the North Pacific Cannery, the Museum of Northern BC with intricate displays of Indigenous artifacts or take a guided tour and learn about the history of the region.

DAY 6

Inside Passage Cruise to Port Hardy

Board your return sailing and cruise south, winding through the magnificent glacial fjords of the Inside Passage.

DAY 7

Port Hardy to Parksville

Enjoy a scenic drive south, along the coastline until you arrive in Parksville. Go for a stroll along the boardwalk, paddle in gentle waters or chill out on the white sandy beaches.

DAY 8

Parksville to Metro Vancouver

Finish your trip with a leisurely drive south along the coastal route, winding through seaside towns and beautiful scenery. Board the ferry to sail back to Metro Vancouver.
