• Make a booking to avoid sailing waits, especially during busy travel periods like match days, long weekends and around holidays. If a sailing is full, sign up for booking alerts on select routes to get notified if space opens up. 
• Book your sailing in advance to secure your spot.
• All customers travelling from Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to Nanaimo (Departure Bay) in a vehicle are required to book and pay in advance due to ongoing construction. Learn more.

• Vehicle and passenger Saver fares are typically available on select midweek, early morning and late night sailings.

• Check-in times for vehicles can be found on your booking confirmation email or by viewing your departure terminal’s check-in details. 
• Foot passengers with a booking must check-in between 60 to 30 minutes before departure. 
• Current Conditions provides a forecast of deck space available based on the number of vehicles booked in advance and the number of drive-up vehicles in the terminal. Check current conditions on your day of travel to view the status of your sailing and potential deck space subject to availability. 

• Planning to park and sail? Terminal lots can fill quickly, check lot capacities on your day of travel. Public transit, ridesharing, or being dropped off are great alternatives if they work for you.  
• Leave the car at home and take the BC Ferries Connector between downtown Victoria and Vancouver. Departures to and from Vancouver Depot, YVR International Airport and the Vancouver Cruise Ship Terminal provide easy connections to the Victoria Bus Depot. Learn more.

Public transportation from Tsawwassen terminal

To the tournament at BC Place 

Take the 620 bus (operated by TransLink) from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal to Bridgeport Station @ Bay 12 stop.

After you arrive at Bridgeport Station @ Bay 12 stop, walk 2 minutes to the Bridgeport Station Loop. Take the Skytrain with service on the Canada Line and get off at Yaletown Roundhouse Station. Walk about 12 minutes to BC Place from Yaletown Roundhouse Station.

Total trip: approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Take the 620 bus (operated by TransLink) from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal to Bridgeport Station @ Bay 12 stop.

After you arrive at Bridgeport Station @ Bay 12, walk 2 minutes to the Bridgeport Station Loop. Take the Skytrain with service on the Canada Line and get off at Vancouver City Centre. 

Walk about 2 minutes to catch the 14 bus at NB Granville St @ W Georgia St and get off at EB E Hastings St @ Windermere St. Walk across the street to the PNE grounds entrance.

Public transportation from Horseshoe Bay terminal

To the tournament at BC Place

For direct service from Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal downtown, take the 257 bus (operated by Translink) after you walk off the ferry. Get off the bus at the WB Dunsmuir St @ Cambie St stop. From there, walk towards Cambie St and turn right on Beatty. BC Place will be on your left.

From Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, take the 257 bus (operated by Translink) after you walk off the ferry. Get off the bus at the EB W Georgia St @ Granville St stop and turn right onto Granville St to get to the NB Granville St @ W Georgia St stop. From there, catch the 14 bus to the EB E Hastings St @ Windermere St stop. Walk across the street to the PNE grounds.
