Keating Cross Road Overpass Project
Victoria to Swartz Bay
July 29 and August 7, 2024
Patricia Bay Highway (Hwy 17) between Victoria and Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island will be temporarily closed from Tanner Road to Island View Road due to the Keating Cross Road Overpass Project during the noted times on the following dates:

Customers looking to travel to or from Swartz Bay terminal during closure times will be impacted and should plan their travel accordingly. A detour will be in effect via Central Saanich Road. Customers should be prepared for a 15-20 minute delay as a result.

- Visit iconic landmarks such as the Victoria Public Market, The Chinese Public Language School and Market Square during your walking tour.
- Walk along Fan Tan Alley—a narrow street dotted with lanterns and learn all about the history around the area.
This tour can accommodate some allergies, however it can not accommodate a gluten allergy.

Tour Meeting Location: Victoria Public Market at 1701 Douglas Street. Please enter the building through the front doors and head to the middle of the market. The tour meets at the Community Kitchen space, located near the washrooms.
