RECOMMENDATION 1

Metro Vancouver to Campbell River

Start your journey with a scenic ferry ride from Metro Vancouver to Vancouver Island. When you arrive on Vancouver Island, head north and make sure to leave time to explore the seaside towns along the way.

Campbell River to Port Hardy

If you’re looking for an adventure, book a wildlife excursion to learn more about humpbacks, orcas, bears, elk and more. After a morning in Campbell River, head towards Northern Vancouver Island, known for its rich forests and untamed beauty. Take time to visit quaint towns like Sayward, Telegraph Cove, and Port McNeill along the way.

RECOMMENDATION 3

Inside Passage cruise to Prince Rupert

Set sail on an adventure from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. Cruise through the Inside Passage to Northern BC, where rich history, vibrant Indigenous culture, and pristine natural beauty await. On your journey, lookout for wildlife and pass by scenic coastal landmarks.

Prince Rupert

RECOMMENDATION 5

Prince Rupert to Smithers

Travel alongside the powerful Skeena River as you head east on Highway 16, then turn south along the Bulkley River toward Smithers. Soak in the scenery, including the towering Hudson Bay Mountain and Glacier.

Smithers to Prince George

Your scenic road trip continues south from Smithers to Prince George, with a few scenic detours along the way. End the day in Northern BC's largest city, Prince George.

Prince George to Williams Lake

As your journey back to Vancouver begins, make a stop in Williams Lake to brush up on your gold rush era history. While you’re there, check out the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin for a history of ranching and rodeo in the area.

Williams Lake to Metro Vancouver

Depart Williams Lake and enjoy the scenic drive back to Metro Vancouver. Make sure to stop at some of the quaint towns along the way.
