Due to forecasted high winds for Vancouver Island and the Strait of Georgia, service on several of our routes will be affected today, Friday, November 10, 2023:
The following sailings have been cancelled today as a result of the forecasted weather system moving across the region:
Tsawwassen (Vancouver) - Swartz Bay (Victoria)
All sailings beginning with the 7:00 pm departure from Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen
Tsawwassen (Vancouver) - Duke Point (Nanaimo)
All sailings beginning with the 8:15 pm departure from Duke Point
Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) – Departure Bay (Nanaimo)
All sailings beginning with the 8:05 pm departure from Horseshoe Bay
Tsawwassen (Vancouver) - Southern Gulf Islands
All sailings beginning with the 7:30 pm departure from Tsawwassen
Swartz Bay (Victoria) - Southern Gulf Islands
7:30 pm departing Swartz Bay
8:55 pm departing Sturdies Bay
9:55 pm departing Lyall Harbour
Little River (Comox) – Westview (Powell River)
All sailings beginning with the 3:25 pm departure from Comox
Westview (Powell River) – Blubber Bay (Texada Island)
All sailings beginning with the 5:05 pm departing from Texada Island
Campbell River – Quadra Island (Quathiaski Cove)
All sailings beginning with the 4:00 pm departure from Campbell River and Quathiaski Cove
Quadra Island (Heriot Bay) - Cortes Island (Whaletown)
All sailings beginning with the 3:50 pm departure from Whaletown
Denman Island East (Gravelly Bay) - Hornby Island (Shingle Spit)
All sailings beginning with the 7:00 pm departure from Shingle Spit.
Buckley Bay – Denman Island West
All sailings for the remainder of the evening beginning with the 9:10 pm sailing from Denman Island West.
Our Customer Service Centre will contact customers with bookings on cancelled sailings to let them know if we have space available to fit them on an alternate sailing or if their booking must be cancelled. The safety of our passengers and crew is of primary importance to us. We know customers rely on our service to get them where they need to go, however, temporarily suspending affected sailings is necessary under these conditions. Scheduled service will resume when it is safe to do so.
