Northern Sea Wolf Refit with Alternate Service April 4 to May 18, 2022
The Northern Sea Wolf will be removed from service to undergo a regulatory refit resulting in an Alternate Service being provided from Monday April 4 to Wednesday May 18, 2022. During this period, alternate service between Bella Coola, Ocean Falls, Shearwater and Bella Bella on a modified schedule is available by:
- Tug & Barge service, vehicles only (passengers are not able to travel with vehicle(s)
- Water taxi service for vehicle passengers and foot passengers

As the water taxi travels faster than the barge, vehicles will generally depart via the barge before the passengers and arrive after them. Customers should review the different sailing times and plan to be separated from their vehicles prior to departure and after arrival. BC Ferries will be offering a complimentary shuttle service in Bella Coola for vehicle passengers needing to drop off or retrieve their vehicles.
