BC Ferries' President & CEO issues statement regarding Safe Restart Funding Agreement

Once again we’d like to acknowledge the contribution from the federal and provincial governments to address the profound impact COVID-19 has had on transportation and on the ferry system with the Safe Restart Funding Program. This funding recognizes that the coastal ferry system is an essential service and supports the economic recovery of our province.

This investment in the ferry system ensures commuters get to work, children get to school, goods get to market and visitors get to coastal communities when safe to do so. We thank both levels of government for their collaboration during the pandemic to assist British Columbians during this difficult time.
