Service notice - Terminal Project Work - May 2026 - Summer 2027

Crofton (Vancouver Island)
May 2026 to Summer 2027

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintain safe and reliable terminal facilities, work will begin at the Crofton terminal in May 2026.

This project work includes the construction of a new lay-by berth, as well as repairs and upgrades to the existing berth and trestle structures. These improvements will support the introduction of two-ship service anticipated in 2027, enhancing safety, reliability, and overall service capacity on the route.

Construction activities will primarily take place during daytime hours between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 

Customers and nearby residents may notice increased activity and moderate noise levels during this time. Pile installation is expected to begin mid-May and continue through mid-June. Advance notice will be provided for higher-impact activities where possible, and every effort will be made to minimize disruption.

Periodic adjustments to terminal operations or sailing schedules may be required to support construction activities. Every effort will be made to communicate any impacts well in advance.
