While the Queen of New Westminster undergoes necessary repairs to its propulsion system, we have revised the Tsawwassen (Vancouver) – Swartz Bay (Victoria) schedule to include added service provided by an alternate vessel.

Divers inspecting the 60 year old Queen of New Westminster have identified that one of the vessel’s propellers sheared off from its propulsion shaft. The propeller has been located and successfully recovered. Repairs will require the vessel to be in dry dock; space has been secured for later this month. We will share further updates should the repair schedule change.
If you have a booking on one of the Queen of New Westminster sailings, you will hear from our Customer Service Centre who will let you know if we can fit you on an alternate sailing, or if your booking must be cancelled. In the case of a cancellation, we will refund your fees and/or fares.
