Malahat Highway Closure

Highway 1 (on Vancouver Island), is currently closed in both directions for 9.1 km between Whittaker Rd and Butterfield Rd (3km south of the Malahat Summit).  There is a detour in effect via Shawnigan Lake Mill Bay Road. Customers should expect and be prepared for extensive delays as a result of the traffic queues.
