Service notice - Overnight Maintenance Work at Swartz Bay Terminal - September 22 & 23, 2026

To support safe and reliable service, we will be conducting essential overnight maintenance work at Swartz Bay Terminal on the evenings of September 22 and 23.

The work will take place on the Berth 2 lower apron following the final arrival of the Coastal Celebration each night and is expected to be completed before the start of regular morning operations.

As part of this maintenance activity, nearby residents may notice:

  • Intermittent construction-related noise associated with grinding, arc gouging, and welding activities
  • Limited work lighting within the terminal area

Our crews will make every effort to complete the work as efficiently as possible and limit disturbances where possible.

We recognize that overnight work can be disruptive and apologize for any inconvenience. This work is necessary to complete repairs safely while minimizing impacts to ferry operations and our customers.
