Service notice - Tsawwassen Terminal Berth Construction

Tsawwassen Terminal – Berth 5 Closure
Spring Maintenance and Construction
April 25 – May 14, 2026

Construction work is underway at Tsawwassen terminal as part of our routine infrastructure renewal and maintenance. This work is taking place on the north breakwater and within Berth 5 to support safe and reliable operations.

What to expect:

  • Berth 5 is temporarily closed until May 14. 
  • Sailings will operate as scheduled, with no planned cancellations.
  • Some sailings may experience minor delays as vehicles are loaded at alternate berths.
  • Customers may notice construction activity on the water, including a barge near Berth 5.
  • During daytime hours (7:00 am to 5:30 pm), vessels may operate at reduced speeds near the work area, which could add a small amount of time to terminal movements.

There are no expected changes to terminal access or traffic flow, and no night work is planned.
