Revised Schedule & Water Taxi Service
Blubber Bay (Texada Island) – Westview (Powell River)
April 5 to 9, 2026

Due to a mechanical issue with the propulsion system on the Island Discovery, we have cancelled previously scheduled sailings on our Blubber Bay (Texada Island) – Westview (Powell River) route until Thursday, April 9, 2026.

To keep the Texada Island community connected, the Salish Orca will operate on a modified schedule Comox (Little River) – Texada Island (Blubber Bay) – Powell River (Westview) and accommodate vehicles and passengers through Blubber Bay on the following schedule.

Water Taxi
A water taxi will provide foot passenger service between Westview and Texada Boating Dock (Van Anda). The water taxi will follow our regular posted schedule throughout the day. If volumes deem it necessary, after the water taxi docks and unloads, customers waiting at the terminal will board straight away. The water taxi will return to the posted schedule after traffic is cleared.

We recognize the impact cancellations have on our customers and communities and appreciate their patience. Once additional details are confirmed, we will update this Service Notice.
