To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, the following sailings between Swartz Bay (Victoria) - Tsawwassen (Vancouver) must be cancelled for today, Wednesday, March 11, as a result of Environment Canada’s severe weather forecast for high winds in the Strait of Georgia.
Cancelled Sailings:
3:00 pm departing Swartz Bay
5:00 pm departing Tsawwassen
7:00 pm departing Swartz Bay
9:00 pm departing Tsawwassen
We know you have important places to be, so to keep you moving and to assist with high traffic volumes as a result of these cancellations, we will be providing the following additional sailings tonight, March 11:
8:00 pm departing Swartz Bay
10:00 pm departing Tsawwassen
We are currently monitoring the weather system, and if conditions do not improve, all sailings are at risk of cancellation for the remainder of the day.
Alternate service is available via our Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) – Departure Bay (Nanaimo) route. Due to the ongoing Horseshoe Bay Essential Infrastructure Program, all vehicle travel departing Horseshoe Bay must be booked and paid in advance up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. If you have a booking on one of these cancelled sailings, you will hear from our Customer Service Centre to let you know if we can fit you on an alternate sailing later today, or if your booking must be cancelled. In the case of a cancellation, we will refund your fees and/or fares. Click here for more information about bookings on cancelled sailings.
