Infrastructure Program

The Horseshoe Bay / Langdale Infrastructure Program is underway. While no sailing cancellations associated with this work are planned, customers may notice changes to traffic patterns, vehicle staging, and loading procedures at Horseshoe Bay terminal.

Horseshoe Bay Terminal Updates

Early works at Horseshoe Bay terminal have now concluded, and the lower terminal is once again open for vehicle staging.

Customers are reminded to:
•    Follow the direction of terminal personnel
•    Check your ticket for your assigned lane number, as all vehicle staging lanes have changed

Long-term Parking
•    Parking availability in the surface lot adjacent to the Horseshoe Bay terminal building has now been fully restored 
•    Should this lot be full, additional parking is available in the BC Ferries parkade south of the terminal (entrance on the left after entering the village)
•    During future construction work at Horseshoe Bay, parking may again be impacted. Information will be provided here.

Passenger Drop-off/Pick-up
•    The passenger drop-off/pick-up area remains available
•    A maximum wait time of three minutes is in effect

Future Construction

The Horseshoe Bay / Langdale Infrastructure Program is a multi-year, multi-terminal project.

Next phase of work is planned for Langdale terminal beginning in late 2026 through early 2027. Find out more here
