Barge booking request form
For priority vehicle travel between Quadra Island and Cortes Island (February 9 to March 1, 2026) during the berth closure
Advance booking of barge service is mandatory and must be requested by using the form below.
From February 9 to March 1, 2026, we will be providing an alternate barge/landing craft service (Monday through Saturday) to transport essential goods and services between Gorge Harbour (Cortes Island) and Heriot Bay Government Dock (Quadra Island). This temporary change in service is due to berth closures at Heriot Bay and Whaletown terminals.
Customers are required to submit the form below to request a booking on a barge sailing.
This service is intended to transport the following goods and services during the berth closure:
- Medical services
- Animal feed
- Couriers
- Critical repair services (utilities)
- Food deliveries - fresh and frozen foods
- Fuel deliveries (diesel fuel, heating oil, propane)
- Hearse
- Perishable products (mussels/livestock)
- Waste management vehicles
- Dangerous goods (Tuesdays only - complete the form below or email your details to Key.Accounts@bcferries.com)
