Orca Spirit is proud to have a 95% success rate for whale sightings during peak season! In the rare event that no whales are seen on your tour, guests receive a complimentary return ticket.

Orca Spirit Adventures Whale Watching Tour is available to experience between May and October.

Activity policies

Departure Location: 146 Kingston Street, Marina level of the Coast Hotel by APA.

Check-In: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.

It is advised to contact Orca Spirit Adventures the day prior of your tour to reconfirm the tour time at 250-383-8411.

Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

Wildlife Sightings: While Orca Spirit strives for memorable encounters, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Orca Spirit Adventures reserves the right to cancel or postpone any trip due to inclement weather, insufficient passenger numbers, or events beyond our control.

Tour Availability: Please note should there not be enough participants, the tour can be changed and a BC Ferries Representative will notify you.

A waiver must be signed prior to participation and any guest under 19 years of age will require a signature from a parent or guardian.

Guests are advised to wear light layers or a warm jacket as the ocean breezes can be cool. It is recommended to bring a reusable water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and a snug-fitting hat
