Overnight Closures Planned for George Massey Tunnel
 

The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled overnight closures of the George Massey Tunnel for maintenance from September 18 - 20.

Scheduled Highway Closure Times:

  • Northbound - Friday, September 18 from 9:00 pm to Saturday, September 19 at 6:00 am
  • Southbound Closure - Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 pm to Sunday, September 20 at 6:00 am

Customers travelling to or from Tsawwassen terminal around these times should plan for additional travel time or consider an alternate route via the Alex Fraser Bridge.

Important Booking Information: After purchasing tickets online, please contact the museum to confirm your preferred entry time at the Museum. Entry times must be confirmed in advance due to capacity restrictions. You may be turned away if you have not reserved your timed entry prior to visiting the Museum. Please call 604-896-2233 Ext. 226 Monday to Friday or email book@bcmm.ca to confirm.

Important Booking Information: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reserved entry time. Due to reduced capacity late entries will not be accommodated. Please note that the it is cool in the underground, please dress accordingly.
