Itinerary
 
Day1.  Vancouver to Port Hardy

Leave Vancouver (choice of departures) from the airport South Terminal on your flight (choice of departures) to Port Hardy. Pick up your rental vehicle at the airport. Visit to the First Nations "Big House" in nearby Fort Rupert.
Overnight: Port Hardy

Day2.  Around Port Hardy to Telegraph Cove
Turn south on Highway 19 (the Island Highway) and drive to Telegraph Cove, a historic village built on stilts. Nearby, visit a whale watching operator for a 3-hour tour to see Killer Whales. Turn north again on Highway 19 to Port McNeill. Take the BC Ferry to Alert Bay to see the First Nations museum at the U'mista Centre.
Overnight: Port Hardy
Day3.  Port Hardy to Prince Rupert

This morning, board the BC Ferry Northern Expedition for a daylight cruise up the spectacular Inside Passage to Prince Rupert. A world-class travel experience, you'll sail through calm inlets, evergreen-covered islands and majestic coastal mountains on this remarkable voyage.

Day4.  Around Prince Rupert

Pick up your rental vehicle and drive to Port Edward for a visit to the North Pacific Cannery Museum, a national historic site. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Northern British Columbia with its priceless collection of First Nations artifacts.
Overnight: Prince Rupert

Day5.  Prince Rupert to Vancouver

This morning, return by air from Prince Rupert to Vancouver.
