BC Ferries Coastal Experiences aim to make your trip more enjoyable, while creating a memorable journey for you. Coastal Experiences are provided in partnership with organizations committed to BC’s coastal living.
What B.C. marine animal has three hearts and only one bone in its body?
BC Ferries and Parks Canada invite you to join our Coastal Naturalists onboard select summer sailings on Vancouver-Victoria and Horseshoe Bay-Nanaimo routes. Coastal Naturalists will introduce you to British Columbia’s unique marine and animal life, diverse geography and fascinating history during an engaging 30-minute onboard presentation.
The Coastal Naturalist programs have wrapped up for the 2009 season; we hope you enjoyed the presentations during your travels this summer. The Coastal Naturalist programs run from the end of June to the beginning of September, so be sure to check back with us in 2010 for next year’s schedule.
Learn the answer to this and other questions as you to test your knowledge about British Columbia’s unique coast through the Coastal Awareness presented by Chevron interactive game.
You'll find these entertaining exhibits at BC Ferries terminals. Experience the game at Tsawwassen (Tsawwassen Quay Market and Berth 5 foot passenger lounge), Swartz Bay (Lands End Cafe and foot passenger facility), Duke Point's passenger services building, Horseshoe Bay's Nanaimo-bound foot passenger lounge and Departure Bay's Quay Market.
