Arrive Early to Check In
All passengers traveling between the Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Islands and the Mainland are requested to arrive at the terminal well ahead of their scheduled departure time, as follows:
-
RECOMMENDED CHECK IN TIME for sailings is 90 – 120 minutes in advance of the sailing. Reservations not claimed 90 minutes before sailing time will be cancelled in order to accommodate stand-by traffic.
-
Stand-by passengers and commercial traffic should arrive 2 hours ahead of their scheduled sailing.
Early arrival will help ensure ticketing staff have sufficient time to efficiently process all waiting passengers, as well as assist with maintaining scheduled departure times.
Passengers are reminded that due to the reduced passenger level currently in effect, to guarantee space availability, it is strongly recommended reservations be made as far as possible in advance of travel. With increasing demand, passenger space this summer may be limited on certain sailings.
Reservations are available online at www.bcferries.com, or by calling Prince Rupert Terminal at (250) 624-9627, Skidegate Terminal at (250) 559-4485 or
toll free 1-888-223-3779 weekdays between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm and
weekends between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Pacific Time.
BC Ferries thanks our customers for assisting our staff to provide reliable and
on-time service.
