When to be at the terminal for our Northern and Mid Coast routes (reservations required):
- Commercial Vehicles travelling on BC Ferries' northern routes should check in 3 hours prior to sailing time. Photo ID is required at check in. Commercial vehicle reservations cancelled 5 days or less prior to the scheduled departure will be assessed a service fee of $100 per reservation. Reservations unclaimed and unpaid 2 hours prior to the scheduled sailing time will be cancelled.
- Commercial vehicles should check in 3 hours prior to sailing time. Reservations unclaimed 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure will be cancelled.
- Commercial Drop trailers and hostled vehicles should check in 4 hours prior to sailing time. Reservations unclaimed 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure will be cancelled. If you're travelling on a route for which reservations are required, your check in deadline will be confirmed when you book your passage.
