BC Ferries Releases First Quarter Results
VICTORIA British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (BC Ferries) announced its first quarter results today. Net earnings were $0.9 million for the first three months ended June 30, 2010 compared to net losses of $3.6 million in the first quarter of the previous year.

QUEEN OF NANAIMO TO RETURN TO SERVICE ON FRIDAY AUGUST 6
VICTORIA The Queen of Nanaimo, which services BC Ferries Tsawwassen Southern Gulf Islands route, will return to service on Friday, August 6, following repairs to the propeller system and the damage to the bow door frame and hinge. This repair work is expected to be complete Thursday night.

QUEEN OF SURREY RETURNS TO SERVICE
VICTORIA The Queen of Surrey is set to resume to service on the Horseshoe Bay Langdale route as scheduled on Thursday, July 29. With the return of this major vessel, BC Ferries will implement the 5:50 pm commuter sailing from Horseshoe Bay six days per week from July 29 through until September 3.

BC FERRIES PILOTING FREE WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE
VICTORIA BC Ferries will be piloting a free wireless Internet service on all ships servicing the Tsawwassen Swartz Bay route, as well as at these two major terminals. The service will enable our customers to text, email and browse the Internet.
