- Our ferry terminal at Tsawwassen is located 24 miles/38 kms south of Vancouver via Oak Street and Highways 99 and 17.
Driving instructions from Vancouver:
- South on Oak Street to Highway 99
- Highway 99 to Highway 17
- Southwest on Highway 17 to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time: about 40 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving instructions from Vancouver International Airport:
- Look for destination signs leaving the airport terminal and follow Highway 99 South to Highway 17
- Follow Highway 17 to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time: about 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving Instructions from Whistler:
- Highway 99 southbound past Horseshoe Bay, connecting to Highway 1 East
- Take Taylor Way Exit
- Cross Lions Gate Bridge
- Continue through Stanley Park and onto Georgia Street
- Turn right at Howe Street
- Cross Granville Street Bridge
- Turn left at 70th Ave
- Right at Oak Street (Highway 99 South)
- Continue through George Massey Tunnel
- Exit (28) onto Highway 17 to Tsawwassen ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time from Whistler approximately 2 hrs 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving instructions from Seattle:
- I-5 North to the Canadian border
- In British Columbia, I-5 becomes Highway 99
- Highway 99 to Highway 17 (Exit 28)
- Southwest on Highway 17 to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time: about 2 hrs 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving Instructions from the Fraser Valley (Chilliwack):
- Highway 1 westbound to Fort Langley
- Take Exit 66 to Highway 10
- Highway 10 west to highway terminus at Highway 91
- South Highway 91 to Highway 99 (Exit 16)
- Highway 99 to Highway 17 (Exit 28)
- Southwest Highway 17 to Tsawwassen ferry terminal

- Our ferry terminal at Swartz Bay is located 20 miles/32 kms north of Victoria at the end of Highway 17.

HORSESHOE BAY, West Vancouver

Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay, Nanaimo
Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, Sunshine Coast
Horseshoe Bay to Bowen Island

- West on Georgia Street, through Stanley Park
- Cross the Lions Gate Bridge
- Follow Highway 1 (Upper Levels Highway), to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time from downtown Vancouver: 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving instructions from Vancouver International Airport:
- Look for destination signs leaving the airport terminal and follow Highway 99 North into Vancouver
- West on Georgia Street, through Stanley Park
- Cross the Lions Gate Bridge
- Follow Highway 1 (Upper Levels Highway), to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal
- Total estimated driving time from Vancouver International Airport: 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Driving Instructions from Squamish & Whistler:
- South on Highway 99, the "Sea to Sky Highway"
- Continue past the Horseshoe Bay turn-off
- Take Exit #4, the Caulfeild exit
- Loop over the overpass
- Proceed west on Highway 1 to Horseshoe Bay Terminal
- Total estimated driving time from Squamish: 45 minutes; from Whistler approximately 1 hr 20 minutes; depending on traffic conditions.
Driving instructions from Seattle

- Total estimated driving time from Chilliwack: approximately 1 hour, 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
DEPARTURE BAY, Nanaimo
For ferry service from:
Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver
- Our major ferry terminal at Departure Bay is located 2 miles/3.2 kms north of Nanaimo City Centre off Highway 1.
Note that we also have a terminal at Nanaimo Harbour (160 Front Street) that serves our Nanaimo-Gabriola Island route.
DUKE POINT, Nanaimo
For ferry service from:
Duke Point to Tsawwassen, south of Vancouver
- Our Nanaimo ferry terminal at Duke Point is located at 400 Duke Point Highway, 9 miles/16 kms south of Departure Bay off Highway 1. The exit to Duke Point is well marked; the terminal is 5 miles/8 kms from the exit.
LANGDALE, Sunshine Coast
For ferry service from:
Langdale to Horseshoe Bay
Langdale to Gambier Island and Keats Island (passenger only service)
- Our Langdale terminal is located 4 miles/6.4 kms north-northeast of Gibsons and 52 miles/84 kms south of Earls Cove. Approximate driving time from Langdale to Earls Cove is 1.5 hours.
