Between December 1 to 7, additional Saver fares are available on all sailings between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, and from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. 

  • Saver fares for travel between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island range from $49* to $76.10* one-way for a standard vehicle and driver, including a free reservation. 
  • Saver fares for travel from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale are $39** return for a standard vehicle and driver, including a free one-way reservation departing Horseshoe Bay.

Availability is limited and these fares are expected to sell out. Book now and save!

Valid for travel in either direction between:

  • Vancouver (Tsawwassen) – Victoria (Swartz Bay) 
  • Vancouver (Tsawwassen) – Nanaimo (Duke Point)
  • Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) – Nanaimo (Departure Bay)

Valid for return travel between:

  • Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) – Sunshine Coast (Langdale)

  • Sail between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island from $49* one way for a standard under-height vehicle and driver, including a free reservation
     

  • Sail from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale for $39** return for a standard under-height or over-height vehicle and driver, including a free one-way reservation 

Booking a Saver fare

  • Saver fares are available year-round on routes between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, and until Jan 5, 2022, for travel between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale
  • Between Dec 1 – 7, additional Saver fares have been added on all sailings on the above routes, with more Savers available during less busy travel times, including:
    • Morning sailings
    • Midday sailings during the week
    • Saturday sailings
  • Book online in advance to secure your spot
  • Saver fares have limited availability and will appear in the sailing selection screen if available 
  • Saver fares are not valid for thru fare travel 


Changing or cancelling a Saver fare

  • Make changes to your Saver booking up to one hour before booked departure for a $5 change fee (plus price difference, if applicable) 
  • You can cancel a Saver booking up to 11:59 pm the day before departure for a full refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee


Arrive early or miss your sailing?

  • You can use your Saver fare towards travel on a different sailing on the same route, on the same day by paying the difference in price.
  • You will be boarded after reserved customers in the order you arrive on the next available sailing, based on space availability

*Fares shown are in Canadian dollars and are based on one standard under height passenger vehicle and one adult passenger driver travelling one way on any of the following routes: Vancouver (Tsawwassen) - Victoria (Swartz Bay), Vancouver (Tsawwassen) - Nanaimo (Duke Point) or Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) - Nanaimo (Departure Bay). Saver fares range from $49.00 - $76.10 for a standard under height passenger vehicle and driver.

**Fare is in Canadian dollars and based on one standard under-height or over-height passenger vehicle (including driver fare) travelling between Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) – Sunshine Coast (Langdale), return. Over-height Saver fares applicable to private passenger vehicles over 7 feet (2.13 m) in height. Regular extra length charges apply over 20 feet (6.10 m). Saver fare free reservation included one way, departing Horseshoe Bay.
