Berth 2 Life Extension Project
Denman Island West Terminal
September 18 to November, 2024
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the safe operation of our terminal facilities, BC Ferries will commence the second phase of repair activities to Berth 2 at the Denman Island West terminal. The project will start September 18 and is expected to continue until the end of November.
Marine work will involve replacement of select steel sections of the ramp and timber elements on the trestle, along with upgrades to the shore-to-ship electrical system. We do not expect any increase of noise levels, nor any impacts to terminal operations.
We will continue to update this Service Notice should there be any changes to this scheduled work.
