Engineering and Advisory Consulting Services
This Request for Supplier Qualifications is being issued by British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. (“BC Ferries”) to identify and prequalify a list of consulting firms who can provide engineering or advisory services as and when required. The disciplines being considered are:
- Structural Engineering – Marine
- Structural Engineering - Buildings and Uplands
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering – Marine Lift Systems
- Mechanical Engineering – Uplands
- Mechanical Engineering – Buildings
- Electrical Engineering – Marine & Civil
- Electrical Engineering – Buildings & Uplands
- Civil Engineering – Transportation
- Civil Engineering – Utilities
Organizations interested in reviewing the bid package must download the RFSQ document, and choose the attachments listed under "RFx Documents". Note that it is the Proponent's responsibility to check BC Bid for additional posted documents e.g., addendum and Q&A documents that may be issued up until the closing date and time.

Submission by email to procurement@bcferries.com. The Proponent must abide by the following instructions:
Proponents shall e-mail their proposal to the attention of the Contact shown on RFSQ, on or before the Closing Date and Time stated. Any pricing tables required in response to this RFSQ are to be submitted in electronic copy, in PDF format. Responses must be in the English language.
Email submissions must meet the following requirements:
- Submissions must be made in Adobe PDF format. If Attachment worksheets were provided in Excel format, the attachment worksheets should be submitted in Excel format;
- The maximum acceptable email size is 10MB. If greater than 10MB, respondents should email responses in multiple emails. If sending in multiple emails, each email should indicate the total number of emails that are being sent. Failure by any Proponent to comply with this restriction may result in information not being received by BC Ferries and may result in a non-compliant Proposal by the Proponent;
- Please do not include hyperlinks or website addresses in the Proposal to information that forms a part of the Proposal. BC Ferries reserves the right not to review any information provided by this means, and may result in a non-compliant Proposal by the Proponent.
