British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. invites tenders for 91169 Tsawwassen Shoreline Stabilization Phase 3
In general, work shall consist of:
Excavation and placement of existing material.
Supply and placement of filter and armour rock to approximately 200m on the north side and 1,950m on the south side of the Tsawwassen Causeway.
Removal, stockpiling and replacement of driftwood in the areas of work.
Environmental mitigation measures.
Tender Documents will be made available through our FTP site to General Contractors on January 22, 2018 by emailing email@example.com. Instructions to our FTP site will be provided. Only those Contractors who obtain Tender Documents will be considered registered plan holders and thus eligible to submit a tender.
A bidders site inspection will be held on January 29, 2018 at 10:00am. Bidders are to meet at the westbound causeway pullout at the work site. Bidders must register their presence with the Project Manager at the site, stating the name of the company they represent.
Sealed Tenders are to be submitted to BC Ferries, Suite 500 1321 Blanshard St,
Victoria, BC V8W 0B7 by 2pm on February 7, 2018.

Tenders are irrevocable for 30 days and may not be altered, amended, or withdrawn for any cause, following the advertised Tender opening time and date, unless written permission is granted by the Company.
LOWEST OR ANY TENDER WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ACCEPTED.
TENDERS WILL NOT BE OPENED IN PUBLIC.
