British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. invites tenders for: 91188 Signage Upgrades on Highway Approach to Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. The work includes replacement of three large overhead signs and three roadside signs on the HWY 17 approach to Swartz Bay Terminal. The new overhead signs will be integrated with owner supplied Changeable Message Sign (CMS) Boards.
In general, work shall consist of:
Development of art files and shop drawings of the signage;
Supply and installation of signage on the HWY 17 approach to Swartz Bay Terminal
Installation of owner supplied CMS Boards;
Supply and installation of electrical & data communication conduit/cabling for CMS boards;
Testing and commissioning;
Removal and disposal of redundant existing signage
Tender Documents will be made available and sent electronically to General Contractors on December 18, 2017 by emailing email@example.com. Only those Contractors who obtain Tender Documents will be considered registered plan holders and thus eligible to submit a tender.
A bidders site inspection will not be held. Bidders are strongly encouraged to conduct their own site inspections. All signs are located in public areas.
Sealed Tenders are to be submitted to BC Ferries, Suite 500 1321 Blanshard St,
Victoria, BC V8W 0B7 by 2pm on January 11, 2018.

Tenders are irrevocable for 45 days and may not be altered, amended, or withdrawn for any cause, following the advertised Tender opening time and date, unless written permission is granted by the Company.
LOWEST OR ANY TENDER WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ACCEPTED.
TENDERS WILL NOT BE OPENED IN PUBLIC.
