Terminal Development Planning

What is a Terminal Development Plan (TDP)?
The purpose of a TDP is to guide future change and development at each terminal. TDPs will provide the framework for the phased implementation of strategies, actions and projects over a 25 year horizon. These plans will enable BC Ferries to develop the terminals in a cost effective, organized, phased and efficient way.

Stakeholder and Community Engagement
A key component in the development of each TDP is stakeholder and community engagement. Engaging with our employees, Ferry Advisory Committees (FAC), customers, service communities, partners and stakeholders as well as Indigenous Peoples is a critical component of our future infrastructure planning, service planning, project management and ongoing operations.

The Process
Each TDP will be developed in accordance with the following six-phase process:
