Day1.  Arrive in Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and spend the rest of the day exploring this scenic city on your own.
Overnight: Vancouver

Day2.  Vancouver to Victoria
Travel by motorcoach and BC Ferries through the picturesque Gulf Islands to Victoria, the provincial capital. The rest of your day is free to explore this British-style city. See the Royal BC Museum, the Legislative Buildings, Butchart Gardens and Craigdarroch Castle. Pick up your rental car for the remainder of your Vancouver Island visit.

Day3.  Victoria to Port Hardy

Your journey today takes you by motorcoach to the northern tip of Vancouver Island and the town of Port Hardy. En route you will pass through Goldstream Park and Duncan before stopping in Chemainus, famous for its outdoor art mural displays. After a lunch stop in Coombs, continue north through Courtenay and Campbell River before an early arrival in Port Hardy.

Day4.  Port Hardy to Prince Rupert

Depart Port Hardy and cruise northward with BC Ferries through the awe-inspiring Inside Passage. This full-day journey takes you past spectacular coastal rainforests and picturesque fjords.

Day5.  Around Prince Rupert
A day at leisure to explore the coastal town of Prince Rupert.

Day6.  Price Rupert to Prince George

A day travelling to the beautiful Prince George.
Overnight: Prince George

Day7.  Prince George to Jasper
From Prince George travel east on VIA Rail to the Canadian Rockies, passing by their highest peak, Mt. Robson, at 3,954 m (12,972 feet).
Overnight: Jasper
Day8.  Jasper to Banff

Transfer to Banff along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. At the Columbia Icefields, you can ride on a Snocoach to the middle of Athabasca Glacier. Next, stop briefly in Lake Louise, and view Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake before arriving in Banff late in the afternoon.

Day9.  Around Banff

Today you will have an entire day to explore Banff National Park on your own.

Day10.  Banff to Kamloops
Transfer to Banff Station. Depart onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff bound for Kamloops, gateway to British Columbia's interior. Marvel at the stunning glaciers, numerous tunnels and snow-capped peaks of Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Breakfast and lunch is served onboard the train both days. Optional evening at Two River Junction Dinner and Musical Revue.

Day11.  Kamloops to Vancouver

Continue your journey west from Kamloops along the Thompson River to the Fraser Canyon. At Hell's Gate, witness the Fraser River churning its way through the walls of the canyon at its narrowest point, one of the canyon's most impressive natural treasures. Exit the Fraser Canyon through the fertile Fraser Valley to Vancouver.

Day12.  Vancouver
