In response to increasing volumes of commercial traffic on our Southern Gulf Islands Routes, we would like to suggest some options that will help accommodate our commercial customers and get them to their destinations in a more timely and efficient manner.
If your company is planning to ship a number of trucks or a vehicle that is over nine (9) feet wide on a particular day, we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours advance notice.
The advance notice will help us coordinate with you to accommodate your shipment(s) over the course of the day. It also allows us to check the tides for best sailing times and advise our other customers of possible sailing delays if necessary.
A second option is to use our charter service. Your company can charter a vessel for extra sailings to avoid delays and overloads that you may experience on the regular scheduled sailings.
Using our charter service will result in a customized service for your company and it may be less costly.
Please contact the Marine Superintendent's Office, Southern Islands, at 1-888-537-1478 or 250-537-1478 for more information about these options.
Thank you for your continued business, and we look forward to serving you in the near future.
