Sample Itinerary (recommended travel time is 6 days)
Sail from Vancouver to Swartz Bay (Victoria) and travel north on Highway 1 (the Island Highway) to the Cowichan Valley, which is full of spectacular wineries and farms.
Stop in Chemainus, the world’s largest outdoor art gallery with 37 world-famous murals, before continuing along the highway to Nanaimo and into the Comox Valley.
At Comox, hop aboard the 80-minute ferry crossing to Powell River.
Continue south along Highway 101 to Saltery Bay before catching the 50-minute sailing to Earls Cove.
Continuing on Hwy 101, along the Purple Banner Art Studio Route, visit the seaside village of Sechelt and stroll along the seawall in historic Gibson’s Landing.
In Langdale, take the 40-minute crossing to Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver).
