Head northwest on Hwy. 101, turn on to Redrooffs Road to reach Halfmoon Bay, which has five regional parks. Halfmoon Bay Country Fair. Old-fashioned fun for all at Coopers Green Regional Park. Sargeant Bay Provincial Park. Excellent bird watching and inter-tidal life. Smuggler Cove Provincial Marine Park. Hike into wilderness campsites or paddle in from Brooks Cove through Welcome Passage. Thormanby Islands are a Provincial Marine Park area with a great sandy beach accessible during low tide and super canoeing and kayaking.
