B.C.’s second largest city stretches from the Fraser River to the U.S. border. It is also one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada, but has preserved its country heritage. This is the “City of Parks” with some 200 green spaces that give Surrey more parkland than any other community in the region. One-third of the city is still protected agricultural land and 16 golf courses add even more green to Surrey.

Redwood Park Arboretum. Features trees from all over the world grown from seeds and seedlings collected by eccentric twins who lived in a two-story tree house you can visit.
Air Canada Championship. Annual PGA sanctioned tournament at Northview Golf & Country Club draws top golfing talents from around the world.
