BC Ferries is encouraging all customers with prepaid paper tickets to convert to the new BC Ferries Experience™ Card, a wallet-sized electronic payment card, similar to a gift or debit card.
Since April 1, BC Ferries has been offering customers the opportunity to convert tickets to a BC Ferries Experience™ Card at the April 1 price.
This offer has been extended and will be available until May 31 to customers choosing to convert their paper tickets.
Please note that the BC Ferries Experience™ card is not yet in effect for travel between Denman and Hornby Islands or Quadra and Cortes Islands. Customers are encouraged to keep some paper tickets if they plan to travel on these routes. The BC Ferries Experience™ Card can be used for travel from Buckley Bay to Hornby and from Campbell River to Cortes Island.
