Foot passengers on all Northern Islands routes are now provided with a boarding pass when paying their fare.
All foot passengers, including seniors and students, will be required to present their boarding pass in order to enable passage on the ferry.
The only exception will be students traveling on a designated school bus run.
Any foot passengers attempting to board without a boarding pass will be asked to return to the ticket booth to obtain one.
BC Ferries thanks our customers for their anticipated cooperation as we implement this improvement in boarding procedures.
