About BC Ferries

BC Wildfire Support

BC Ferries recognises this is a very difficult time for those affected by the devastating wildfires in BC. To help assist those evacuating and fighting the fires, we are offering the following support:

Residents Evacuating from Wildfires

Complimentary prearranged travel support is being offered to people evacuating from the wildfires in the BC Interior. Evacuees from officially evacuated areas only (emergencyinfobc.gov.bc.ca/) are asked to contact:

1-888-BCFERRY (1-888-223-3779)

Our emergency management team at the Customer Service Centre is standing by to take your calls.

Complimentary travel cannot be granted at the terminal ticket booth, so please call ahead to prearrange your travel.

Please note the Northern routes are fully reservable and sailings are often fully booked for the summer.

Emergency and Firefighting Personnel

Prearranged travel support is also being offered to fire trucks, emergency vehicles and personnel, coordinated by Emergency Management BC.

BC Wildfire Volunteers

Prearranged travel support is being offered to BC Wildfire volunteers that are coordinated directly through Red Cross.
